Suffolk Robin Hood Game & Country Show A celebration of all aspects of country life designed to provide enthusiasts and family visitors an insight into the very best the countryside has to offer. There really is something for the whole family, whether you're into serious game or country pursuits, want to enjoy a fun-packed day full of top attractions, or even just wanting to shop at some of the amazing local businesses. "country fun for all the family" With fun for all the family, the shows feature an array of top class attractions and entertainment including Robin Hood re-enactments, falconry displays, archery and a wonderful jousting display. So, bring your family and bring along your dog and enjoy these fantastic days out. "even your dog is welcome" For 2010 you can see a whole host of top attractions and world class displays in the Main Arena. In addtional we have a whole host of things for you to 'have a go of' - plus there are over 200 trade stands from discounted plants to country clothing. The Suffolk Showground is situated in the heart of Suffolk where the A12 link from London to Ipswich meets the A14 direct route to Cambridge and the Midlands. By Road Sat Nav Postal code to input into Satellite Navigation is IP3 8UH From the West - The Midlands A14. Take the first exit after the Orwell Bridge sign-posted Nacton and Ransomes Europark. Follow signs for the A1156 and Suffolk Showground. From the East - Felixstowe A14. Take the exit signposted Bucklesham, Levington and Woodbridge. Follow signs for the A1156 and Levington. From the South - London, Chelmsford and Colchester The A12 is a major route for those travelling from the South, where it meets the A14 follow signs to Felixstowe and exit as instructed for travelling from the West. From the North - Great Yarmouth A12. Exit at the Seven Hills roundabout and follow signs for Ipswich East, A1156 and Suffolk Showground. By Bus For further information regarding bus services to the Showground, please contact Ipswich Buses on 0800 919390. By Rail The Suffolk Showground is just 5 miles from Ipswich Railway Station. This line links directly to London Liverpool Street and the journey takes approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. At the station there is a taxi rank and bus stop. By Air Airports - London Stansted Airport is about an hour and a half from the Showground. Distances in Miles Birmingham 157 miles
