& Horseback Stunt Displays
BRAND NEW SHOW! - Cheer for Robin Hood in this amazing jousting and stunt
display from the Stampede Stunt Display Team.
Audience participation is a must in this fantastic demonstration of jousting
and stunt riding – with amazing displays of horseback riding such as jumping
through fire, rearing, roman riding and a special demonstration of horseback
archery.
With a team of
professional stunt riders who have performed at top venues including
Disneyland, American Adventure, Camelot and Europa, the Stampede Stunt Display
will amaze you throughout the duration of the event in the main arena.
This years spectacular display features a brand new choreographed tale of
Robin Hood and his Merry Men...
Flight of the
Falcons
Enjoy this amazing display of agility and speed consisting of a whole host
of beautiful but deadly falcons.
From the fast and agile Harris Hawk to huge Buzzards this professional
display is sure to keep you entertained.

Savage Skills Mountain Bike Display
Team
AS SEEN ON ITVS LETS GET GOLD! Sit back and marvel as the Savage Skills
Mountain Bike Display Team entertains you with a display of superb mountain
biking skills in their amazing anti-gravity show.
Featuring two world-class stunt riders and a whole host of tricks and jumps
the team will be at the event for the entire two-day duration.
Meet former World Champion Ben Savage and his amazing team in
this high-octane show, which takes place in its own 'bike
arena'.
The team will be at the show all weekend, so make sure
you see this stunning performance that had Freddie Flintoff and Rio
Ferdinand on the edges of their seats!
Karate Club Essex
Display
We are pleased to welcome to the show the team from the British
Martial Arts Karate Group.
The team, which teaches karate to students of all ages are based in
several locations across Essex, including Southend and
Basildon.
The exciting demonstration performed by local members (of all ages)
must not be missed! Check out this video clip of one of the group
6 year old members demonstrating her skills...
Pick your favourite and enjoy the race. This fun ferret race will take place
in the countryside arena throughout the show. No money is exchanged hands and
the emphasis is on fun and education.
Come and support Ferret Friends Rescue and take part in
their entertaining ferret racing show in the countryside arena.
Owl Agility

Bet you’ve never seen owl complete a Dog Agility Course?!
Well, there’s always a first – join Andrew and his team of highly skilled
owls in the Countryside Arena and witness first hand this amazing display.
You can even meet the owls and find out from Andrew (from Berkley Owls) just
how clever owls really are.
Gun Dog Training
Display
All the way from Norfolk, we are pleased to be joined by Dunhamswood
Gundogs.
Come along and learn from Steve some of the tricks of the trade of how
working dogs are trained to an acceptable level and meet the stars of the
show, a group of ‘novice’ gundogs – always interesting, sometimes
hilarious.
Steve has been training gundogs for over 20 years and is a font of
knowledge – he will be happy provide some great advice at the
show.
Working
Ferret Displays
This traditional country pursuit has its own special feature
with a dedicated ring show and exhibition stand showing every aspect of the
pastime.
Ferreting was a traditional country pursuit popular with our ancestors
and a route into the countryside for thousands of people in towns. Today
the professional ferreter still uses a dog, net and ferret with methods
based on those used 100 years ago but the addition of a few modern
electronics now aids efficiency.
Simon Whithead of Pakefield Ferrets is one of only a handful of
professional ferreters in this country who uses ancient field craft to
control rabbits in an environmentally friendly way.

in the UK – it is held inside the Essex Robin Hood Country Show and features a
massive selection of have-a-go dog activities, fun dog shows, dog trade stands

By popular demand, Bark Busters Home Dog
Training will be running a dog show exclusively for small dogs under 18
inches tall on Sunday the 12th.
Do you have a Bichon Frieze, Yorkshire Terrier, Cocker Spaniel,
Boston Terrier, Chihuahua, Jack Russell, Mini Schnauzer, Toy or
Miniature Poodle, Patterdale Terrier, Cavalier King Charles, Dachshund,
Llasa Apso, Pug, Scottish Terrier, West Highland Terrier, Shih Tzu,
Pekingnese, Pomerarian, a Puggle (pug/beagle), cavapoo
(cavalier/poodle), cockerpoo (cocker/poodle) or any other small dog
that you would like to enter into a show?
We are having a fun dog show for
all small dogs of any breed. The only qualification is that your
dog is under 18 inches tall.
Entries cost £1.50 per class and all proceeds go to Wagtails Dog
Rescue. Rosettes will be awarded for the winners in each
event.

actual event will take place in the show ring next door.

We are pleased to announce that the Kennel Club has selected
this event for its Scruffts regional competition heat. Each
entrant will have a few minutes in the spotlight to dazzle the judges
in the following four classes:

Dock
Dogs – Big Air Competition
Back due to popular demand all the way from the USA, the Dock Dogs
BIG AIR competition makes a huge splash back at this years show. This
fun competition involves a ball, a large pool of water and the dog that
can leap the furthest.
You can enter the Dock Dogs Big Air WAVE competition by registering
online here or register at the show.
Placement Medals will be awarded to the Big Air Finalists, however
All dogs that get wet during Big Air WAVE competitions will receive an
award.
Please note that Dock Dogs have a strict policy where dogs only jump
if they want to!
Dog Training Clubs
& Advice
Does your dog pull on the lead? Does (s)he bark in the early

This years All About Dogs Shows feature a whole host of dog training
and obedience clubs who can help you.
The experts will be at hand to sit with you and your dog and offer

Dog Scurry -
Have-a-go
Organised by the National Organisation of Beaters & Pickers-Up,
the Dog Scurry is always very popular with all breeds of dog – a bit on
fun for our four-legged friends.
The Scurry is a simple retrieving competition and is open to all dogs
of all breeds and all ages – with prizes given for the fastest times of
the day
Dog Agility Ring - have-a-go
Come and have a go on the dog agility course organised by Essex Flyers
Agility Flyers. See if your dog can master the jumps, tackle the tunnel,
climb the a-frame, tip the seesaw and weave the weaves.
The trainers will guide you round the obstacles. As long as your dog
is over a year old, he/she can have-a-go. Any breed, any size.
Flyball Competition &
have-a-go
The Ramsden Flyball team will hosting a flyballs competition over the two
days at the show. They will also be running a have-a-go flyball which will be
open for everyone to join in. If your club would like to take part get in touch
with The Ramsden Flyball.

Dima's Good Boy School Demo
Team
NEW! As seen on TV, on programmes such as ITVs That Dog
Can Dance, enjoy Dima and his amazing dancing demonstration
group.
Dima and his dogs will be at the show all weekend, so come along and enjoy
this fabulous display that kept Sharon Osbourne, Bill Bailey and Ashleigh
Butler entertained.
Essex K9
Dog Display Team
A team of highly trained security dogs and some of their very fast friends
going through their paces.
Including the apprehending of an armed criminal – 6ft High Scale – Agility
Race – Control Work and of course some fire hoops.
A fast moving and informative display that includes all of the skill
required for a top security dog. You will see how much these dogs enjoy their
work.
The video clip gives you an idea of some of the amazing skills and
training that the display dogs have to go through... (its taken at one of our
other shows, Suffolk All About Dogs in Ipswich).

Buster Have-A-Go Competitions
These events are great fun for you and your dog. Does your dog love
to catch a biscuit when thrown? How fast do you think you can run
with your dog if you are holding an egg and spoon at the same time, or are
tied to a family member?
Will your dog sprint 30 foot to get to you when you call him or her?
How about sitting? How fast will your dog sit when you ask him or
her?
K9 to 5 and Bark Buster believe in having lots of fun with your dog so come
along and "have a go" on the day.
Entries cost £1.00 per event and all proceeds go to Wagtails Dog

Kidgility Demonstrations
NEW FOR 2013 - come and join in with this amazing, interactive
demonstration of dog agility...
Kidgility is run by Lonewolf Agility and is a fun filled audience
participation show for adults and children, starring Faze the working sheepdog
and his fluffy sidekick Suga.
Join the dynamic duo for their fun filled and entertaining display of
jumping skills.

From well-known breeds such as the German Shepherd and Boxer, to the lesser
known Cane Corso and Northern Honiakaka.
All About Dogs features numerous breed stands where visitors can learn more
about a vast range of dogs
So far confirmed are: Boxers, German Shepherd, Cane Corso, Northern
Honiakaka, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Newfoundlands and Greyhounds.
Fastest Recall & Tunnel Challenge
Does your dog come to you when you call? If so, you must enter the
Fastest Recall or the Fastest Tunnel Challenge!
Organised by the German Shepherd Dog Rescue - an organisation dedicated to
the rescue, short term fostering and long-term re-homing of GSD's, no
matter how old.
Could your dog be the 'recall champ' and win a prize...?
Karen encountered her first deaf dog over 25 years ago, her passion to
help deaf dogs in the UK came about through her role as a foster carer for
dog rescue organisations.
Many rescues do not have foster carers with deaf dog experience and a
deaf dog takes longer to place in a new home due to the myths
surrounding them about being unattainable.
The Deaf Dog Network was set up to bring together those with deaf
dog experience and to help those that don't.
To improve the experience of deaf dogs in the UK and save lives. Watch
our dogs demo in the main arena and see for yourself what these dogs are
capable of and have a chat with Karen.

Athletic
Canine Enthusiasts Society (ACES) - Lure Racing &
Hurdles
ACES will be running the lure racing and long jump at All About Dogs. They
cater for the complete beginner to the experienced and the organisers make
newbie's more than welcome and love seeing new dogs enjoying themselves.
The ACES events are tremendous fun, extremely well organised, with the dogs
health, safety and well-being coming first, as well as all being fully
supervised. The dogs get tremendous enjoyment what they are doing and the
encouragement they receive from everyone just spurs the dogs on to try harder.
Note. You cannot force a dog to do these events, only encourage the dogs
natural abilities.
It takes years of training for a horse to be ready to be ridden
into battle!
Enjoy the jousting and stunt displays in the Main Arena, and then
join the cast at the stable
area.

Air Rifle
Range
A professionally run, air rifle range has been set up by enthusiasts
who work tirelessly to promote safe airgun shooting and to encourage
youngsters into the sport.
Primarily set up to educate, train and promote all aspects of airgun
shooting to the public by a small group of dedicated airgun shooters this has
now grown with some dedicated coaches across the country.
Learn some top tips, as well as excellent advice on safe handling airguns
from the experts at the air rifle shooting range at this years show.
Field Archery – HAVE A
GO!
Do you fancy yourself as good as Robin Hood with a bow and arrow? If
so, join the experts from your local Archery Club, Southend Archery
Club and have a go at real field archery.
For all ages, get some expert advice and see if you can beat the pros and
hit the bull's-eye.

Medieval Village &
Re-Enactments
Come along and meet the vikings in their authentic medieval
village.
Thanks to the members of the Clan Wulfhar, visitors of the Robin
Hood Game & Country Show can sample viking life with dancing and music
from the period and even a spot of swordsplay.
Experience
Owls
We are pleased to welcome Berkley Owls to the show. Featuring around
14 owls in a purpose built display – the display is open to view
throughout the opening times of the event and visitors can have the
experience of holding an owl for a small fee, and even a quality
photograph taken as a momento of their experience for an additional fee,
this being produced on-site in a matter of minutes and presented in a
sleeve.
The arena displays normally last around 30 minutes and to put it mildly,
are spellbinding! Spectators get the opportunity to join Andrew and the
owls in the arena and assist him in demonstrating just how wise and clever
owls can be, mocking those who claim owls are stupid.

Ferrets
We are pleased to welcome to the show the team from rescue centre,
Ferret Friends.
The Ferret Friends are at the show all weekend and
welcome visitors to come along and learn more about ferrets and how
they can make great pets (to the right, responsible
owners).
They will also be carrying out some fun ferret racing
demonstrations at various intervals throughout the weekend.
Gemma's Farm
We are pleased to welcome to the show, Gemmas Farm, who will be at the
show all weekend.
Gemma's Farm aims to provide a unique learning platform, that uses a
combination of hands on animal handling and national curriculum based
activities to inspire children's minds.
Come along and meet some of the farmyard animals, including ducks,
chickens and lambs..

Falconry
Not only can you learn about owls at this years show – for 2013 we are
pleased to welcome the team from Flight of the Falcons.
After enjoying the amazing display, why not come along and meet and
learn some interesting fact about these amazing raptors.
You may even get the chance to hold one..

Guinea Pigs & Rats
Essex Guinea Pig & Rat Rescue Centre gained charitable status back in
2001, with its main aims to ‘re-home and rehabilitate’.
Join the rescue centre team at the show and meet some of the furry friends
and find out more how you can help this local charity in their great work for
animal-kind.
From wellies to country clothing, from gunslips to rifles...
A real treat for the 'countryman' (and woman!) There are a whole host

hall within the Brentwood Centre.
