Working Ferret Displays

This traditional country pursuit has its own special feature with a dedicated ring show and exhibition stand showing every aspect of the pastime.

Ferreting was a traditional country pursuit popular with our ancestors and a route into the countryside for thousands of people in towns. Today the professional ferreter still uses a dog, net and ferret with methods based on those used 100 years ago but the addition of a few modern electronics now aids efficiency.

Simon Whithead of Pakefield Ferrets is one of only a handful of professional ferreters in this country who uses ancient field craft to control rabbits in an environmentally friendly way.

The Deaf Dog Network

Watch the demonstration in the arena...

Karen encountered her first deaf dog over 25 years ago, her passion to help deaf dogs in the UK came about through her role as a foster carer for dog rescue   organisations.

Many rescues do not have foster carers with deaf dog experience and a deaf dog takes longer to place in a new home due to the myths surrounding them about being unattainable.

The Deaf Dog Network was set up to bring together those with deaf dog experience and to help those that don't.

To improve the experience of deaf dogs in the UK and save lives. Watch our dogs demo in the main arena and see for yourself what these dogs are capable of and have a chat with Karen.

NEWS UPDATE - On Saturday watch Sandra Hallam and her amazing dog, Henry who performed on ITV's That Dog Can Dance.  See Henry performing at the show in the All About Dogs arena.
