We are pleased to welcome to the show members of numerous dog breed clubs.  Visitors of the show can come and find out more about a huge variety of dog breeds, some well known, some very rare.

Learn more about ‘man’s best friend’ and discover which breeds are suitable to which environments.  Confirmed so far are:  Inuits, Cane Corso, Newfoundlands, Greyhounds, Boxers and Alsations.

Dog enthusiast Tierney Hill loves to dance with her dog Missy, so began to learn Heelwork to music at their local dog training club. What started off as a hobby grew into more, when Tierney and Missy attended local dog shows and began to share their love of dance with the world. They then went on to do bigger shows such as Crufts, Discover Dogs and talent shows, where they received commendations, rosettes, and trophies. Tierney then went on to help others to teach their dogs cool dance moves, and started her own non-profit dog training help website, with the knowledge she had developed. Soon, the dancing duo was talent spotted to be on the CBBC, and was on ‘who let the dogs out?’ after getting through two auditions. They won their episode on the whacky dog show, when their routine got the most points at ShowTime. Missy and Tierney were in local papers and dog magazines.  The pair, now nicknamed ‘Hillwork2Music’ is going to attend the All about Dogs shows to do demos and hopefully introduce the spectators to the wonderful world of doggy dancing.

' More than just a pretty face'

Meet the Tibetan Terrier, nick named 'The little peo-ple'. A medium sized dog, who is funny, robust and ener-getic, enabling them to travel great distances with their owners.

As the name suggests they come from the moun-tains of Tibet, being bred to raise the alarm when intruders approach the monastery's. Large flat feet to enable sure footing in the snow, and to enable strong safe climbing ability. Their non shedding coat makes them good around asthma sufferers. Come and meet the Tibetan Terrier.

The East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club was founded in 1973 and has always sought to promote responsible dog ownership.  We have won the Kennel Club's Annual Award for the KC Good Citizen Award Scheme on two occasions and have taken part in Good Citizen displays at Crufts, also in displays in the Dog Days Out ring at Crufts.  In 2004 the EASBTC Agility Display Team held an agility display in the Special Events Ring at Crufts which led to the Club holding a KC licensed Agility Show for Staffordshire Bull Terriers only - the first ever.  Last year the display team also starred at Discover Dogs in Earls Court, with great feedback and support, and this has led to us once again being invited to take part in a Stafford Agility Display at Crufts 2012 - this time in the Main Ring.   As well as agility displays Jo Essex and her dogs, Bacon and Mouse, often give great tricks displays, showing just how versatile the breed can be!

Canine Performers is a heelwork to music dog training club which run classes and workshops across the South East.

Greyhoundhomer was first formed in April 2006 by a small group of volunteers originally spread over Essex, Suffolk and Hertfordshire. Once approval came from the Retired Greyhound Trust Head Office, Greyhoundhomer started by homing dogs directly from owners and trainers. Since then we have gone from strength to strength so that currently over 800 greyhounds are in homes as a direct result.  Grehoundhomer will running the All About Dogs Fun Dog  Show on Saturday and Sunday. We are pleased to welcome to the show the team from the British Martial Arts Karate Group.  The team, which teaches karate to students of all ages are based in several locations across Essex, including Southend and Basildon.

Bet you’ve never seen owl complete a Dog Agility Course?!  Well, there’s always a first – join Andrew and his team of highly skilled owls in the Countryside Arena and witness first hand this amazing display.

You can even meet the owls and find out from Andrew (from Berkley Owls) just how clever owls really are.

All the way from Norfolk, we are pleased to be joined by Dunhamswood Gundogs.  Come along and learn from Steve some of the tricks of the trade of how working dogs are trained to an acceptable level and meet the stars of the show, a group of ‘novice’ gundogs – always interesting, sometimes hilarious.

Steve has been training gundogs for over 20 years and is a font of knowledge – he will be happy provide some great advice at the show.

A real country treat for horse lovers – come and join licensed Parelli Trainer, Terry Roberts is this wonderful demonstration of natural horsemanship.

It takes years of training for a horse to be ready to be ridden into battle!  Enjoy the jousting and stunt displays in the Main Arena, and then join the cast at the stable area.
